EAP - Employee Assistance Programs are intended to help employees deal with personal problems that might adversely impact their work performance, health, and well-being.
 
Ecstasy - Synthetic amphetamine analogue C11H15NO2 used illicitly for its mood-enhancing and hallucinogenic properties.
 
eight ball- Street slang for a quantity of narcotics weighing one eighth of an ounce or 3 1/2 grams.
 
enabler - Individual allowing irresponsible and destructive behavior patterns to continue by taking responsibility for others, not allowing them to face consequences of their own actions.
 
endorphins - A class of chemicals produced inside the body that mimic the effects of opiate drugs.
 
ethyl alcohol (alcohol) - The product of fermentation of natural sugars. It is generally referred to simply as alcohol, though several types of non ethyl alcohol exist.
